We know a lot of you have been concerned about how the game will run on older devices and honestly, so were we. <:Pepenerd:1388785610289844285> That’s why we’ve already done a ton of optimization work to keep things running smooth, and we’ve shown some of that in our earlier devlogs. But we’re not stopping there. We’re still pushing to make sure the game is playable on as many devices as possible. So, let me show you how it’s running right now on a Samsung J7 Nxt. @everyone

Here’s another sneak peek at the new map we’ve been working on!
We’re currently around 30% complete, the main layout is done, and what’s left includes props, special areas, and vehicles.
As mentioned earlier, our main focus has been the map lately, so we haven’t had a chance to update the player mechanisms just yet.
However, we manage to implement swing assist option! We’ll share more details on that in the next update.
Just wanted to share a small glimpse of the map we’ve been working on! We've finished modeling the Downtown buildings (still need to do the LODs) and we’ll be moving on to High-rise buildings next. There's still a lot to do rooftop props, billboards, cars, water, and much more so expect fewer updates for a while as we're fully focused on map development.

Dynamic Building Shader
We have been working on reducing building repetition by using dynamic building shader. *Decals and Night window lights* are now procedurally and randomly generated based on each building's position, adding more visual variety to the environment. @everyone

Note: We have been focused on planning the map and building models over the past few days (you can expect a much larger map compared to any of our previous games). So, apologies for not posting daily dev updates recently. As mentioned in an earlier post, we’re currently busy working on the map. I'll try to share updates on character mechanisms in between whenever I get the time. @everyone
As suggested earlier, I’ve been working on improving the wall crawling mechanism. Now when the character reaches a corner, he bends into the turn instead of doing that stiff rotation from before. I managed to pull this off without adding any extra raycasts (since more raycasts = less performance) So far, it feels like a good improvement compared to the old mechanism.
Buuut… it’s not super stable yet. You’ll see some bloopers in the footage the system breaks in weird ways sometimes.
So now I’m wondering, Should I add extra raycasts just to make that one-second corner bending more reliable even if it affects performance? I’d love to hear your <#944621738275262504> ! @everyone

We have completely reworked the Wall Crawling system, now it works smoothly around corners and has better landing from wall to ground. Also, we made small changes to the UI button icon.
Up next, we’ll be focusing more on city environment development ( <#944621738275262504> a new name for the city to avoid any copyright issues) , so expect fewer gameplay mechanism updates for a little while. Stay tuned! @everyone
